Bounti Signatures is here. Legally binding e-signatures — built right into the platform your team already uses every day.
There's a document sitting in someone's inbox right now. It was sent last Tuesday. It still hasn't been signed. Or there's a printed form on the break room table. Someone picked it up, someone didn't. Nobody's sure how many came back. This is what document signing looks like at most frontline companies today: a patchwork of tools, a lot of manual chasing, and a nagging uncertainty about whether everything that needs to be signed actually got signed.

What is Bounti Signatures?
Bounti Signatures is a fully integrated e-signature solution built natively into the Bounti platform.
You can upload a pdf document and request signatures from one person, a specific group, or an entire location — all without leaving Bounti. Signed documents are automatically saved, and every signature comes with a legally binding, tamper-proof audit trail.
Signatures are eIDAS compliant and court-admissible.
The problem it solves
Frontline teams sign a lot of documents. Contracts, policy acknowledgments, training confirmations, allergen lists, shift handovers, incident reports — the list goes on, and for most companies it adds up to dozens of signatures every single week.
Today, that process looks one of two ways.
Some teams still do it on paper: print the document, hand it to the employee, wait for it to come back, scan it, and file it somewhere. That somewhere is usually a folder nobody can find six months later. And if the employee was off sick that week, the document just quietly disappears.
Teams that have moved to digital don't have it much easier: HR prepares a document, uploads it to DocuSign, sends a signing request, waits, sends a reminder, follows up on chat, and then files the signed copy somewhere separate from where the document originally lived.
Either way, the result is the same: slow turnaround times, lost documents, and no single place to answer the question "who signed what and when."
How it works
Getting a document signed in Bounti takes less than a minute.
Upload a PDF — or select a document already stored in Bounti
Request a signature — click the request button and place signature fields on the document
Add recipients — select individual people, a team, a group, or an entire location
Recipients sign — they receive an email and sign directly on their smartphone or laptop, no account required
Bounti saves the signed copy — automatically, with a full audit trail: who signed, when, from which IP address, and on which device
No second tool. No tab switching. No filing after the fact.
What makes it different
Native, not bolted on. Bounti Signatures lives inside the same workspace where your documents already exist. There's no separate login, no context switching, no "did I file this in the right place." Everything stays in one place.
Mobile-first, because your team is mobile-first. The signing experience is optimized for smartphones — because that's where frontline workers actually are. Clear layout, large tap targets, no desktop required.
Built for scale. Need everyone to sign the updated allergen policy before next Monday? Send one request to 200 employees at once and watch the completions come in. You can see in real time who has signed and who hasn't — and follow up with a single click.
Trust & compliance, built in
Every signature created in Bounti is:
eIDAS compliant — meeting the EU's legal standard for electronic signatures
Court-admissible — valid in legal and regulatory contexts
Tamper-proof — each signed document is accompanied by an audit trail recording who signed, when, from which IP address, and on which device
No more "did we ever get this back?" searches. No more spreadsheets tracking who's signed what. Bounti becomes your single source of truth for every document, signed or not.
